Shri T Krishnamachar is regarded as one of the wisest yogis
of the 20 th century having deep understanding of the vedic texts, being responsable for their recovery in modern times. Some are now in print in english translation and are avaliable from The Krishnamachar Yoga Mandiram In Mysore Prof T. is still very highly regarded. He is remembered as a very strict man, who despite the generous help of the maharaja prefered to rely on his own resources. The pictures here are of Krishnamachar and are on display in the Yogashala in Parakala mutt, where they are in daily use as examples of correct posture. |
